In these terms and conditions the Company means Dreamworld Cakes Ltd. and the Customer means You the person placing the order.

  1. A booking is only made when the Company receives a non returnable deposit of £100/wedding cake or 50% of price/celebration cake from you the Customer and the Company confirms the booking to the Customer.
  2. The Customer is responsible for checking the confirmation. Any mistakes or alterations must be notified to the Company within 14 days. Thereafter any alterations shall be at the Company’s absolute discretion.
  3. The balance must be paid not later than 30 days before the date of delivery of the order. If the balance is not paid by the due date then the company shall be entitled to regard the booking as cancelled and any refund shall be at the Company’s discretion.
  4. Once the order has been delivered the Customer is responsible for it and the Company will not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage arising.
  5. The Company cannot guarantee that any of its products does not contain any substance that may cause some allergic reaction. The Customer is responsible for advising its guests of this and the Company will not accept any liability for any loss or damage or injury from exposure to anything which might cause an allergic reaction such as ( without limitation ) nuts, nut products or alcohol. The Customer is also advised that although the icing and petals and leaves of the flowers are edible, some other decorations are not ( such as wires, ribbons, pins, jewels, boards etc ). The Customer is responsible for advising its guests of this and the Company will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury arising from any such exposure.
  6. All cancellations must be made in writing. All deposits are non refundable. Any booking cancelled between 28 and 14 days prior to the delivery of the order will be entitled to a refund of 10% of payment received ( not including the non returnable deposit ). Any cancellations made later than 14 days prior to delivery of the order will only result in a refund at the Company’s absolute discretion.
  7. The Company will not accept any liability for any loss or damage arising when it is not able to deliver due to adverse weather or road condition, traffic chaos or other highway hazards. The Company will make every effort to keep the Customer advised in these circumstances.
  8. The company shall not be responsible for any default in its obligations where delivery of the order is prevented or delayed as a result of force majeure, war, civil strife, drought, illness or any other event beyond the reasonable control of the Company.
  9. These terms and conditions are to be interpreted in accordance with English law and the Customer consents to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales regarding these terms and conditions.
  10. In order to receive your refundable cake stand deposit (where applicable) the customer must return all items within 3 days of wedding date (undamaged and clean) to Dreamworld Cakes Ltd. Arch3 Stepney Bank,NE1 2NP.
